Disable TPMS?

Is there a way to disable the Tire Pressor Monitoring System? The Wheels I have do not have the sensors on them. I don't plan on putting sensors on the wheels until I have to put new tires on and I'm tired of the error message when I crank the Tahoe.

Short answer: No.

Just buy the sensors. They're only $100 or less on eBay. It's silly to spend hundreds of dollars on wheels/tires and omit the sensors.

That's what I thought. I just bought the Tahoe and it came this way. I guess I'll bite the bullet and buy them off ebay and have them installled.
