Im thinking of changing out my stock front disc brakes. Which is better cross drilled or slotted disc?

I can help you get a great deal on rotors, pads and just about anything else for your brakes. I personally recommend R1Concepts cross drilled and slotted, I have run them on every vehicle I have owned for years and they have NEVER let me down. They are currently on the 03 Duramax, 04 Denali and will be going on an 05 Silverado 1500 I just bought as well.

Let me know if I can help you find the right parts for your truck...

I went with EBC slotted sport rotors with hawk pads on the front of my 07. Cured the horrible warping issue stock rotors have and stopped much better as well.
I haven't tried R1concepts yet but have heard good things about them. The camaro is about ready for new rotors so I may try them soon.

Nothing but slotted discs recommended, you only want the best!

Just make sure your rotors are not out of "alignment" to begin with by using an on-car brake lathe. I heard R1s are good, I went with EBC brakes on my Impala. Slotted only, drilled is mostly for looks.

I also have R1 Concepts. They are on my Tahoe. I went with slotted and drilled. I did this because slotted helps clear dust from between the rotor and pad surfaces, which helps prevent heating, and the drilled help the rotors cool a little faster, in order to prevent hotspotting/warping which my truck already had when I bought it. I do stop a lot faster too. These brakes have saved me from 2 potentially serious wrecks out here. I don't recommend trying to save money on parts that mean the difference between life and death, but for the price I paid for R1 Concepts, I'm impressed with how good they are.

One thing you should know is that typically, slotted (drilled too) will wear pads faster.
