DMV area good mechanic with Tech-2 shop besides dealership?

Please am looking for referal to a shop or mechanic in the DC Metro Area to reprogram abs control module and other fixes on my 2006 GMC Yukon Denali. I have a tech-2 scanner but not skilled enough to attempt any programming.

References will be gratelly appropriated.

What exactly do you need done with the ABS? What other fixes?

Abs control module replaced and requires programming,
other fixes : complete check and fix any issues found requiring the need of a tech-2

A few people on here have gone in to the dealerships to have various programming and calibration updates, and have had good outcomes with minimal hours labor. You might want to call a dealership with your needs and ask what they would charge to program the ABS. If you have other issues that you've found with your Tech 2, explain those and ask about them, too.

Thanks for all the responses. I took the yukon to the GMC dealership in Woodbridge VA to reprogram the abs control module, after 2 weeks at the dealership, I get a call stating the module cannot be reprogrammed and it could be due to multiple issues; one being I've upgraded my radio with a Pioneer AVIC-7201NEX and that could be interfering with the programming and secondly my brake system isn't original. My wheels were upgraded to accommodate a wilwood big brake kit upgrade.

The dealership said they cannot complete the work request with the current brake system unless I change everything back to factory original so am back to looking for a shop that can assist with fixing a modified 2006 GMC Yukon Denali.

Only modifications are the big brake kit, wheel size, air intake and sound system.

Well they're useless. That kit has nothing to do with it, they're lazy
