Do I need Door Chime thing??

so its something you can live with? i mean i couldnt find the thing to stop it for much less than 100$. You know anyplace they are cheaper?

im pretty sure mine does but I'm wondering if its really that bad or i can live with it for a few months until i can find a cheap chime killer

i mean mine had the chimes but when i put in my aftermarket hu I no longer have the chimes bc i didnt buy the adapter thing

from my research it also controls the retained accessory power (keeps radio playing after shut off), back up alarm system chime, onstar function, and door chime.

it does but I found a way to keep the "RAP" feature without the adapter thing, but i dont have onstar
