Do I need to replace my gauges?

Fuel gauge will sometimes not show any fuel when I have just filled up. After the next start, it will work fine but only after half a day. if i turn it on, shut it off, then start again, its still at empty. The fuel pump is good and all the wiring is good. Do I need to replace my cluster? if so, do i need to loom for one on a low mileage tahoe/yukon so itll last a little longer. Also, is there a way to move the odometer on a new cluster?

There's a place out in CT that repairs bad clusters got mine rebuilt for $170

Having trouble finding a company to work on the pre 1999 clusters.

The company is http://www.fixmygauges.com/ I swapped in an Esky cluster so mileage correction, fixed the spinning fuel guage, tested the rest and calibrated it, I think they fixed the oil guage to it used to spin too, had it there and back in under a week, send them an email and see what its gonna cost for what you need
