File this in the bitter customer section, but I truly feel I owe it to anyone who might shop at this place to warn them ahead of time. Lou Bachrodt reminded me of the car dealer in the movie Fargo - totally dishonest and greedy.

Ordered a Tahoe LTZ...quoted four to six weeks. Took 3 months from what I now understand from the forum was because they probably had no allocation.

Agreed on a price (through Costco auto program) and promised to match whatever Carmax offered for trade. Seemed pretty straightforward and easy. Find out only when I'm sitting with the finance guy that the deal has totally changed - different price, different trade and tacked on about $1,500 in extra dealer fees. Manager tells me he never authorized matching carmax and they aren't getting as big a hold back or something from GM now and they therefore don't have enough profit on the deal. Told me it was my fault for not understanding that the price could change and I should understand that they need to make an ample profit.

I ended up walking out and now I'll buy one elsewhere. Very disappointing and hope anyone who reads this shops elsewhere. Total joke of an operation.

That is super sad if they couldn't match Carmax. I use Carmax as a worse case scenario to see what my car is worth cause they don't give you crap.

So the end of this story is that I bought it from another dealer in my area called Tropical Chevrolet. They were phenomenal. Honored Costco pricing $1,500 under invoice plus got $1,000 GM owner loyalty. So this deal ended up being better than the one these jerks refused to honor. On one hand I'm happy it ended well, but on the other hand I'm in further disbelief that the original place let me walk and disseminate negative reviews.
