Hello all! I am in the middle of finally rebuilding my 4l60e. Nothing wrong just creeping up on 300k and figure it's time for a "freshen up." Anyway in regards to the input shaft four sealing rings I know you have two types. The Teflon solid rings and the Teflon scarf cut. I was wondering what some of you opinion on scarf cut rings, to try and make my life a bit easier? Do you trust it to properly seal? So far the "internet talk" I've seen is between "they work" and "they work okay, as long as you don't add horsepower?" So I'm wondering from anyone here who did a rebuild would give their opinion?
Thanks!
Thanks!
