Never said it disabled, but it will limit the use as will manually selecting 5th gear.FYI - Tow/Haul mode does not disable AFM.

FYI - Tow/Haul mode does not disable AFM. How about "M" mode?

Not sure. Never tested that. Will try and do it next time my wife lets me drive it.

i regularly run mine in 5th, and tow/haul when traveling at highway speeds. generally, the higher speed (load) keeps it in V8 as well.
