Does anyone have turn downs???

i know your not "supposed" to have them on a SUV but ive heard of some people having them, im trying to bag my truck and my dual exhaust is in the way and i want to just do turn downs or just come out the side. Just wanted to see if anyone had them and if they have any trouble with fumes or exhaust smell in there truck..

I don't have duals but my turn down is about a foot (guessing on that) behind the muffler and I haven't had any complaints. Sounds good (especially with the passenger rear window down) and haven't noticed any fumes at all.

I had my 3" ran over the axle and it clears by a good 4". If you're gonna dump it try running it out the side so you can't see the tip, you could aim it toward the rear tire if possible.

i also have about of foot of pipe after my muffler dumped and havent had a problem with fumes inside

I've got the same setup bout a foot off the muffler its turned downed,no problems with fumes!

i moved my muffler forward about 2 feet then welded mega-phone tips (about 18") at a slight downward angle. no issues with smell/fumes, a lot louder than having tails. but the sound is louder in the cab also with the windows up. im trying to get some shit together to make side pipes but on a hoe with running boards its definitely gonna be custom.
