No kidding. If they weren't already gone is give them some seriously bad reviews online.
I have a cap for the passenger side. Brand new for a 2008. It is OEM. Dealer replaced complete mirror and used the original silver cap to avoid painting the new cap. It's black and ready for paint. Seems to me it hooks and snaps on at the top of the backside though.

Which side do you need? Or do you need both sides?
So the shop was affiliated with a tire company that has a corporate office so i emailed them a nasty letter and they called me back this morning saying that they would take care of it. I haven't made it up there yet but it sounds like they may take care of it for me.
