As rediculous as your first post was (this is my very first post on here) it did recieve alot of response...
Anyhow I would think the lights have nothing to do with the seat heater not functioning... I just purchased an 03 Yukon Denali and mine does not really work the well either.. The back part of the heat works but the A$$ part doesn't seem to heat up like the passenger side. I would think the element(s) have gone bad, but I really don't know...

I have no idea how i even got to his site nevermind what I'm talking about, i just smashed my hands against the keyboard and voila!
But....Position the seat so it's tilted forward, find where leather ends on back and there should be a section that you can maneuver a bit to get into the seat under the fabric. Have a little PATIENCE and pull the heating elements out, one where you sit and one for the back. More than likely the, Heating element and the few wire harness connection leading from it are damaged from years of use. They may look a little burnt even. If that seams to be the issue, go to the dealership or an online oem distributor and buy replacements.
Cost of replacements is relative to how much you like your chair to be heated.

If that does not help, rip panels and dash; chase wires

Well, I'm new, I'll help ya out. I'm a tech for a cad dealer so I've seen this a million times... First, there are no fuses for heated heats, cad, gmc, don't matter, their all the same. DSM (driver seat module) handles all heated seat output and temperature controls. As well as memory functions. Now, you said the light for the heated switch lights up right? If it in fact STAYS on, until you turn it off, then my friend your either looking at a backed out pin or bad connections at the DSM, prob pin 13, or worse, a bad relay INSIDE the DSM (very common). OR... if the light stays on for a few minutes then magically turns itself off, that's an element.( also very common with fat owners... Sorry guys ) If I were you, I'd turn both back and butt on high, a/c full blast, close the doors and leave it for like 5 mins. Come back and make sure that- A, it's only the cushion and not both. B, the light didn't turn off by itself. And C, the passenger side works... Gimme as much info as you can, I've got every schematic and diag flow chart, well figure it out..

Well that's good to hear, because I'm already convinced that you know your shit better than I do, and that's always good if you ask me. This site is great! I've been on a bunch of different forums and this is one of the few where you can totally be yourself and nobody gives you any shit, just good times, good people, and good help..........I'm actually laughing out loud right now, because I just remembered that the first thread you posted in was that BS "Does anybody know anything around here" thread. That's the first time I've even seen anything like that around here though.
