Wont do anything that noticeable power wise but it will add some sound. Your best bang for your buck is the Airaid intake tube. You keep your stock airbox, this only replaces the section from the throttle body to the airbox. This is the part that is restrictive from the factory. Get the Airaid intake tube and an AEM dry flow filter and you'll be good to go. Makes just as much power as any "complete" kit and costs half as much. There is a thread on here that dyno tested all the top CAI kits and the airaid came out on top.

Minimum gains by itself. I have it on my motor and I like how it works for me

Thanks! I ordered the Airaid AA201-712 kit that includes a dry filter. It was only about $20 more than just the tube itself (AA200-912)

Blackbear performance did the test. You can see the results in their section.

That's the one I have, I run a prefilter on it and the lower scoop. I like it a lot, when your just driving down the road it's nice and quiet, but floor it and you have full audio sound from the intake. many new cars come with an intake pipe running into the cab just so you car hear the engine runnig...yes some for the new cars are very quiet.

I had that exact CAI with the lower scoop on my 04 and I loved it. I can't say there were performance gains but that the blackbear tune and Magnaflow muffler sounded great and felt great together.
