We put our almost 16yr old Chocolate lab down several months ago and the house grew empty... so we welcomed home this little guy 2 weeks ago.

Circle of life. We will most likely put our 12 yr old White Shepherd down next week, as his DM disease has progressed to the point where his hind legs can barely support him. We think that he also has dementia. It will be a VERY sad day, and we will lean on our other 8 yr old white shepherd for comfort in the short term. Unfortunately, he will probably be just as distressed as us, since the older dog has been around since we brought the younger dog home, and they were best buddies.

We will get another pup sometime in August or September.

This is Boston. He pasted away last Sunday night from a disease that he contracted from a tick bite, even though we give all our dogs a monthly medicine that supposedly kills ticks. Problem is the tick has to bit for it to kill them. The tick probably died but so did Boston. The good thing he died at home with us not a cold cage at the Vet's office. We miss him terribly although the house is much quieter now. He was such a trouble maker! Our other two dogs miss him too. He was quite the character...he reminded me of the character "Frank" from Men In Black. "You Can Kiss My Furry Little Butt!" Boston.jpg
