doing some new things to the 4door.

Well its going to the shop tomorrow morning to get some new toys..

heres what I have now.

fabtech 6 inch lift
3 inch body
torsion bars cranked a little
37 inch goodyears
3.73 gears

I have a little axle wrap in the back so I am having a set of ladder bars built for it so hears my list.

456 gears front and rear
locker for rear
ladder bars
spacers for rear to even the stupid front out.
balljoints and pitman arm replaced
alignment

Will the 456 be good for a 37-40?

I need to drive this thing at least 100 miles a day plus it goes on a 4 hour trip almost 3 times a month..


i get 180 miles to a tank now will i get any better gas with the 456 gears?

I dont like them either but they have almost 80 percent tread left and I dont have the money for new tires...

at least a 4.88 gear. That thing must be a dog with 3.73 in there now. oh yeah...pictures now please. I am running a 4.56 ger and a 35" tire. I think you'll be happier with a 4.88

38 - 40" tires use 5.13 gears. I was using 4.88 with my 2dr with 36" ATZ's

I have 4:56 with 37" tires, runs great (the blower helps some)

I'd go with 4:88 though if I were to do it again.
