Door hinge replacement ...

I have a 96 2dr that for some reason, doesnt have door hinge springs.. ?? i bought springs and the tool from LMC but realized the things that hold in the springs are not there either. So it looks as though i need to replace the entire hinge

Anyone done this or have tips? i also need to re-align the driver door as its about 1/4" low.
