So I changed these on the drivers door on the suburban today, what a pain in the ass that is. Took over an hour, but the old bushings were beyond shot. Definitly needs an extra set of hands and a pair of saw horses to rest the door on but not a bad little DIY project.

I hope I never have to change the door pins and bushings on my doors again, what a ******* nightmare that was.

Did my driver door a couple weeks ago. What a pain. I had someone steady the door on a jack. Don't think I'll ever have to do the passenger door.
It did however prompt me to say, as I have said so many times before - "If I ever meet the ****** mental deficient that designed this thing I'm gonna kick him in the teeth."

I didnt think it was that bad. As long as you know what youre getting into and do your research its pretty easy. Granted the pins arent the easiest to get to but its not that bad.

Next on my list is both exterior door handles both latches and the strikers.

What did you guys use to hammer the pins and such with in? Since theres no clearance room to use a hammer, how did you guys do it?

I used a 3/8" footlong extension and drove them in that way..
