Hammer and a screw driver. The worst was the door spring. Took a lot of force with a prybar to get it back in. Getting the bushings and pins in and out was the easy part

i have a spring tool for that one, saves ya alotta time....

x2 on this! When I had my 99 I had to do this same job and bought a spring tool at the urging of the O'Reilly guy. came in handy and I didn't have to worry about the spring coming back and hitting me in the eye!! :D

I changed my doors when i went to power windows... was no big deal. Just unplug the wiring behind the kick panel used a jack to support the door and the gf held it from falling left to right. Drove the pins out and rolled the jack back with the door on it, swapped bushings/pins and then slid it back in and installed pins with a long punch. Took about a half hour per side. For the springs... compress them in a vise....get the best zip ties your parts store has to offer..... sip tie them compressed. Hold the springs in place with a glove on and cut the ties one by one and pull them out.
I have done this on 6 or so rigs ranging from a 72 nova to my tahoe.
