Downgrading 2003 Climate Control to Manual (88-98 Style)

Is anyone aware of a kit or wiring diagram on how to install an older manual style (temp/fan/blend) control on a 2003, to replace the thermostat automatic control? If I want heat, I want heat, not fiddling with it those flaky digital knobs to set the temperature. I know you can set the fan and blend manually, but not the hot/cold mix.
