What year model 6.0 were not drive by wire and what trucks did they come in

From what i`ve heard drive by wire was first used on the 05 models but i have heard a few people say their late 04 trucks had it too so 04 and down but i`m not 100% sure.

My 2003 Denali is drive by wire

I thought it started in 03; however, I have an uncle with a 02 Tahoe with a linkage system for the throttle body, and another uncle with an 02 Silverado and it is drive by wire.

officially it started in 03 but was slowly integrated in about halfway trough 02
