It's been going out slowly to the point of me getting off the seat then adjusting it. Now it makes popping noises and will drop down. Do you think it's still just the motor or more than that?

To be honest i would just replace the entire seat. My seat was torn and the motor was basically toast and I picked up a leather seat in great condition for $130 and it works perfectly.

Yea if u can snag a good one id say get it. Your seat is probably worn on the ass area anyways so less worn foam is a plus:)

get the seats out a 99 they are heavy duty plus the pass seat is power to and they come with the heat in the seats. you can switch
your reupholster seat to this one be sure you get the wiring too,
you will need to cut the side of the seat for the longer power motor
and heat switch. I did this! now i have a power pass seat the heat
don't work. they cost me $50.00 for both at the junk yrd.
