Driver side power window

1997 Yukon 2dr
window will sometimes come down but does not comes back up till I take apart door and hit with a hammer where the motor is.... Any one has a possible fix???? Regulator? motor?? Thanks.

I had this problem once with my yukon denali...
the problem was the cables where loose so i had to pull them out and put some new cables butts and it finally worked

Thanks for the possible solutions checked cables they look solid will go ahead and order a new motor.
