My driver window was frozen shut and whioe trying to get the window to open the mechanism and window became separated. I can hear the motor running the full cycle up and down. Today it was warmer and got the window to drop down when the mechanism was down. It went up fine but now have to fix it.

2 questions
1. I have read the [psts on how to remove the panel with removing the 2 screws but some talk about pulling up and others out. On the 2001 yukon do I pull up or out? and is there any special tools required?

2. How is the window attached to the mechanism? Just want to be sure I have everything I need once the panel is off.

Thanks in advance.

the regulator has 2 rubber padded claws the window attaches to, its got a bolt.. 9,10, or 11mm cant remember. Losen the bolts slide the glass back in them and tighten down, its a pinch fit.

Go to a dealership and get two new clips to put on the window and adhesive. Hopefully the regulators not broken.
