Anyone with this issue. 2016 Yukon XL.

After some strong winds last year. Existing the truck the door flew wide open and since then I noticed a sound while I'm on the highway.

The top part looks apart from the frame and compare to the passenger door.

Any idea how to adjust the door?

Did you get your door fixed? I had the same thing happen in my 2019 Tahoe and it drives me crazy. I took it to the body shop at the Chevy dealer and they pretty much told me they'd have to replace the door. Guess I need to take it to another body shop for a second opinion.

unless the door or hinge is damaged/bent too much then it should be able to be re aligned.

Wasn't sure if I should revive an old thread, or start a new one. Rolled the dice and here I am.

Had some crazy winds up here in Jersey and the door came right out of my hand. Overextended the door. I found @tobypine2 thread here: Door Catch

However my door is off also. Since the upper part of the door looks OK I am wondering if maybe the hinges got bend a little and thats why the door got pulle din a bit? I am wondering if I should order hinges as well as the door catch. I've adjusted doors on a 3rd gen F-Body before - They were really PITA but they are long and heavy and I was a lot younger. Should I skip buying the hinge and go straight for a body shop? Let me know what you think.

Pics of driver and passenger door attached.
