Drivers Mirror Memory

I had this happen on my 2013. The issue was not the memory/computer...the issue whas the position sensor in the mirror itself. The mirror was replaced, fixed the problem.

What seems to work for me:
When my mirror memory goes flaky, I remote start once and the mirrors go back to normal. Once a week seems to do it. (2013 Yukon Denali)

Definitely worth a try.
Waiting to hear back from service advisor. He was going to check with electronics tech again.

So tried all previous suggestions, no change. Electronic tech left message to try setting it with his sequence. That didn't work either. Called him back and he decided to come to us. worked with settings. seemed to work correctly after.
This morning it is back to being wonky. Also now the mirror motor wouldn't stop running till husband pressed mirror directional settings.
2 days ago the vehicle locked on its own and folded in mirrors randomly.
I am beyond disgusted. I realize it is not as serious an issue as some but for what we paid, this is crazy!!

I don’t begrudge you being really annoyed, but I bet you’d be equally annoyed with any car at any price point doing the same thing.

Hopefully it gets sorted out for you soon.

Btw, is this all via only one key fob, or are you (and maybe someone else) using two different fobs?

My guess is the mirror assembly itself is having issues...there is a position sensor in there, and it can go bad...ask dealer to replace the mirror assembly for you under warranty.

Any idea how long the mirror assembly is under warranty for? Having this issue with my 2021 Tahoe.

3 yrs, 36k miles, but if you are relatively handy...its probably not that bad to do.

Not clear if this is truly the issue or not...may need a calibrate after the fact...

I have been having the same issue with my 22 Denali. Sometimes it goes back to its memory position but not always. Occassionally the passenger mirror will reset to a different position too, but usualy it holds pretty good.
Made appointment for service, took it in. they said they had this big software update that might fix this issue and some other things like radio. That was probably 3 weeks ago. Have no idea what software update did, nothing changed that I can see.
Have another appointment on12/2 to meet with some tech about this issue.
Will post after that, but I'm worried it won't act up when I'm there.

( warranties )....... Consider this..... Upon a SECOND service attempt, ( be sure your 'concern' is written the same as before )..
And they fail to resolve the issue after the second attempt...

Your warranty will have no date /and or mileage limit on that problem, if it continues.
