Bittersweet to see a thread discussing this issue. My ‘22 does the exact same thing. Able to remember the position of the driver mirror for about a week before it goes back to the wrong position. I don’t have the bumper to bumper warranty anymore. Has anyone replaced their aforementioned mirror actuator with any success?

So tried all previous suggestions, no change. Electronic tech left message to try setting it with his sequence. That didn't work either. Called him back and he decided to come to us. worked with settings. seemed to work correctly after.
This morning it is back to being wonky. Also now the mirror motor wouldn't stop running till husband pressed mirror directional settings.
2 days ago the vehicle locked on its own and folded in mirrors randomly.
I am beyond disgusted. I realize it is not as serious an issue as some but for what we paid, this is crazy!!
We seriously need to talk. 85k for a vehicle that has mirrors pointing in the trees one day and down to the ground the next. Mines been to the dealership 6 times without resolution. I’m convinced they can’t fix this and I’m ready to force them to buy this vehicle back. They’ve replaced the entire mirror assembly on the drivers side twice! Passenger side has been replaced once. That one seems to be ok for now but that drivers side is wonky always. Here’s the kicker. Car went out of warranty last month and the dealership won’t take my calls anymore. Called GM and they directed me to another dealership who told me they’ll fix it but since it’s out of warranty it’s going to be 875 bucks.
Ours also had that motor sounding like it was trying to break the glass out of the frame as well.

Check the fine print, in your warranty...... If the dealer attempted to fix the problem.... then they tried additional times....

I don't know if the 'fine print' is the same as it was with my older GMC truck, ...... But a time-limit is waived until the original glitch is resolved.... as per GM's policy. ( My dealer lied to me..... I got it fixed by GM, when I spoke to the district GM rep. Many times, the district rep decides the "yes or no"..... Not the scum dealer.
It's so stupid, because GM reimburses the dealer in full, for warranty service. If you took your truck back to the dealer and they tried to fix it a SECOND TIME, you automatically have warranty coverage.... Especially, when most ALL DEALER SERVICE HAS A YEAR WARRANTY ON ANY WORK, regardless of your original warranty's limits.

My guess is the mirror assembly itself is having issues...there is a position sensor in there, and it can go bad...ask dealer to replace the mirror assembly for you under warranty.
They’ve replaced my passenger mirror once and that one’s good so far. They’ve replaced the drivers mirror twice and it’s still pointing up in the trees. Dealer is washing their hands of it.

My drivers mirror on my ‘23 Tahoe occasionally will adjust to the wrong position. I can then adjust it back, but if I hold my memory button it will return to the WRONG position. It seems if I save it again it won’t do it for a bit, then after a few days, it does it again. Any ideas or others have this issue that could help me get the dealer to fix it? They just say they can’t duplicate the issue.
They tried that with me. I told them to keep it until it does it again. They’ve replaced the entire mirror assembly on the drivers side twice and the passenger side once. Passenger side seems to be holding since the replacement but that drivers side is bird watching. I truly don’t think they have a fix for this or they do and it involves replacing the entire system which they’re obviously not willing to do. Nice buying an 85 thousand dollar car that’s probably going to cause an accident eventually

Welcome... My above post...... It ALSO, has to do with the Lemon Law. ( Search out the current Lemon Law and find out what it shows )
I’m new to the forum so stick handling around it is a learning curve. I went up and saw other posts about my issue that tell me this issue isn’t getting fixed. But I saw nothing about lemon laws. Again. Maybe I’m just green in here and I’m missing an attachment. My frustration got me digging and I’m glad I got on here.
