Drivers Side Door won't unlock.

Update on the Latch on the Drivers Side door not releasing. The linkage rods from the manual lock switch, the Power Lock Solenoid and even the Key Linkage all are connected properly. I have pulled the interior door panel back a bit and can see everything fairly clearly. A spring in the latch has become unattached. Even pulling on the linkage rods the locking cam is not changing positions. Does anyone have any idea of how to get this door open to access the latch screws to repair this. Is there some tool or procedure that will let me get the door at least open?

With all the knowledge in this on these forums, there isn't anyone with an idea on how to get the door opened when the latch won't unlock?

any chance you can get pics of this broken component? this is not something we see often.

I am going to see if I can find a tool to remove the inner door panel completely. That way I can pull the window maybe, and have better access to the latch. Will take pics when I get that far.
