Drivers side front wont lift enough with new keys!

I bought a new to me 2001 Tahoe LS to basically make a hunting truck out of. It was already sitting lower on the drivers front when I started but I figured I could tweak it with new keys. So I installed Rough Country keys, 1.5 spacers in rear, new extended shocks and 285/75/17 BFGs on some 2007 factory wheels. I used up all the adjustment on the drivers side and still have probably 3/4” on the passenger side. The passenger side sits almost 3/4” higher too. It has 200k miles on it, could the torsion bar be worn out? Could the hex in the LCA be worn enough to keep it from lifting up? I need new jounce stops but I cant see that being the problem. I did order some 3 inch keys to replace those with to see if I can get it up to match the other side. Any ideas guys?

It is a possibility that the combined weight of having the gas tank on the driver's side as well as having the driver's weight on it could have contributed to the problem. But, it would take a constantly full gas tank and a "hefty" driver to make that much of a difference.

For whatever reason, our trucks are known to have the passenger side bolts only in a couple of turns, while the driver's side may be 3/4 of the way in. If you have the ability, remove the torsion bars themselves, and swap them side-to-side. It may make a difference, it may not, but at least that would be one variable eliminated.

I have read that you can’t swap them side to side. They are supposedly indexed wrong to do so. Have you done it?

And I've heard (on this forum, actually) that it can be done. Another option is to swap in 2500 series bars, they have the same hexagonal pattern on the ends, but are larger in diameter.

Or get a set of TB from a junker. Then you don't have to mess with your passenger side bar.
