that's a stange one, I would guess maybe there is a issue at the switch harness, check all the pins to be sure they are properly seated. for beginers anyway
and if that makes no difference try wiggling the harness while using the drivers window button and see if anything happens.

Don't the driver door modules need to be programmed, or matched to the VIN options?

What door module (make, model) did you buy?

even if this was the case for say a dorman, he has verified the drivers window is operational.

I think only certain things wouldn't work if it needed programming, like blind spot or etc,,, but I could be wrong

Did you ever figure out your Driver's window Issue? We are having the same issue and can't get it figured out. Have tried 3 different modules. Might be a wiring issue. Haven't found a wiring diagram yet. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

The switch modules have to be programmed to match the vehicle model, year and RPO code options. Should be a label on the original switch. Use that in your used part searches as well as the vehicle options to match yours. Otherwise programming will be needed. Especially if going with a new part.

I got lucky and found a used one on eBay to match my vehicle and options. It was plug and play.

Herer is one.. https://charm.li/Chevrolet/2013/Tahoe 4WD V8-5.3L/Repair and Diagnosis/Diagrams/Electrical Diagrams/Windows/

Looks like, the window switches power their own windows. The drivers window can be controlled from the driver switch, but controlling the other windows from the driver switch means it communicates with the BCM, which then sends a signal to the respective door switches.
