At first glance this appears to be exactly perfect in what I have going on and in what I need.

Only difference is where the lines come into my 97 trans (which I'm using) they're at a slight angle.

If it was available, I was gonna play around with the configurations as to fine tune it to the EXACT parts I need, take it to Napa and say 'here, I need this'

unknown at this time.
All GM part numbers listed for all those numbered. autozone probably could not cross reference them unless they are spark plugs and filter things. Can gets you those numbers if needed. But woul try strippng an obs suv or truck from a yard first.

Can I replace the trans oil lines and motor oil cooler lines with rubber hose, and pipe thread fittings?

And/or pipe thread fittings and flared fittings, and bend my own?

Will the rubber lines be acceptable to the pressures and such?

Which diameter hose would e recommended for the motor oil lines? They appear to be thin, then fat, then reduced to a thin lie again before the fitting.

Yeah there are guys that replace them with braided steel line with AN fittings all the time ... I would probably get barbed adapters for the radiator fittings and double clamp it just in case.

Ok thanks, will look into it. Hopefully be to that point tomorrow.

Progress update:

Motor in and mounts bolted, lots of stuff hooked up in the engine compartment, will finish the rest tomorrow when we lower her back down.

Having an issue with the fuel lines into the plenum.. They're rigid lines and can't get them into place. Messed up the orings, gotta replace them now.

Who's got a diagram on the layout of orings, bushing, and washers?

Got the trans all bolted up, torque converter bolted to flywheel, cover on, starter and grounds hooked up, transfer case and driveshafts on, all applicable electrical here hooked up.

Tomorrows agenda: tackle the exhaust (need to go get some bolts), o2 sensors, trans crossmember, put tires back on. Set her on the ground, finish mounting the power steering pump pulley, fan, need orings for the AC lines, get the fuel lines figured out. Finish the electrical stuff.

Then tackle all the oil lines and such.

Fluids.

Then cross my fingers, say a quick prayer and hope she starts!

It's my dads setup. Wish I had my own too, but I sure am grateful he does!

We use the hell outta it too. Not too often we have to pay someone else to work on our vehicles or to perform maintenance on them.

There's multiple orings and washer(s) and bushing(s) and they're layered in the openings where the 2 fuel lines go in and get clamped on top of the intake manifold.

If you still don't understand ill try to take pics first thing in the morning.
