DROP KITS.....To many choices. Which kit do you have?????

Im looking for a 2/3 or 2/4 drop kit now after seeing some of Tahoe's here.
So many kits.. So many prices!!

I would be fine w/ keys and sprigs, but which kit? There selling a kit on eBay for $222 but no name. DJM is cheap but what am I giving up not spending the extra cash?

Which kits do you have and are you happy with it?

I want to go as low as a i can, but i really want to keep ride quality as good as possible. my ride is kinda bad right now, so i think my shocks are going. they sell the kit without shocks for less on the same site. I'm stuck with this or the ultimate cornering package, but i already have sways, so i'd have to see if they could sell me the rest without the sways for cheaper.

Ya that Ultimate Cornering Package is pretty impressive. Everything you need in one package. BUT way out of my budget range.
I have seen on here that people see a big difference with the upgraded sway bars. May be on my x-mas list. LOL
But still if anyone has one of the lower priced kits on Tahoe/Yukon please chime in. Thanks

ive been lowering the 00-06 tahoes since late 99.

Whats is the max you want to spend?
how are your shocks good or stock?
how many miles on the truck?

Its better to spend the money to do it right the first time.

It has 244,*** mls. But no one believes me. The truck was drive from tx to cal for yrs. Shocks have been replaced but not upgraded just stock replacement.

Ok.... So I guess that DJM kit for $300 Is a bad idea?

ill be honest on this one. If you do drop keys after 1 inch ride suffers.

also the rear belltech kit is adjustable 3-4 inches so gives you space to go lower later.


If your on a budget and want to try it out then go for the djm kit nothing wrong with it just at 2 inch in front kinda ruff riding as with any keys at full 2 inch drop
