Good afternoon family!!!

I recently added some bang in my truck. I have two amps. Pioneer 700+ watts 4way for the highs & Taramp Smart 3k for the subs. Looking for some write ups or some guidance to adding another battery under the hood and doing the big 3 or 4 or whatever. Currently have a yellow top optima on the driver side. Looking to add another yellow top on the passenger side. Do I need a isolator? I will upgrade the alt soon as well.
2006 z71 factory alt currently.

What hooks up to what? which wires go where? :banghead:

Thanks fam.

All I did when I ran two batteries is had 1/0 audio or 2/0 weld cable either works. Running positive-positive fused between the batteries. Same with grounds. Use the same wire for big 3. Wire from alt + to battery + and ground the alt bracket to the frame along with the battery to frame. That’s your big 3

Make sure both batteries are the same make and model. They also should be approximately the same age.
