Dual Electric Fan Replacement

I did look again and found Genuine GM motors and both blades but no shroud. RA says is out of stock and will notify me and Genuine GM Parts and GM Parts Direct both show discontinued. Did you find the shroud somewhere else?

shrouds are out there you just have to search by the part number and there are a few different part numbers

00-03 do not come with fans unless someone retro fits them on from a 04+, and some 04's may not have fans either the last 04 suburban we had did not have electric fans

04 doesn't have fans either

I'm saying 00-02 high speed is activated via an ac pressure wire. 03-06 is pcm based.

If it's any help at all the 2005 Tahoe fans that I pictured in an earlier post have this number molded on the shroud: 10365867.

The shroud number I have is 89023365 and when I punch that in at GM Parts Direct and Genuine GM Parts, you get a pic of the shroud but does say is discontinued. Does anyone know if the fans assembly for NNBS bolts right in?

@Fless, when I do punch in 10365867 at RA, GMPD and GGMP, nothing comes up at all. Hopefully @915_Tahoe can chime in to help. I did add up the parts cost for 2 fan motors, one 7 blade and one 5 blade at RA with GM part numbers and they add up to just over $300.

I ran into this issue when I was looking for a k5l set for my yukon, too many sellers stated the fans were k5l, so I bought the shroud for a hummer which is for sure k5l and then bought new motors for a hummer. my point is the shrouds from 05-14 all fit 05-14 so if you find a shroud for whatever year that is new then buy fans and motors for the same year as well.
electrical plug is the same as well so no worries there, relay is the same also regardless if it is 500w or 700w

What is a k5l? Are you saying that if I find a complete assembly for 07-14, it will bolt right in or I have to find the parts for 07-14 and build it and then bolt in?

I looked for complete assemblies from 07-14 and it is a no go.

You know I replace things on my rig just for giggles. I have looked high and low for a new in stock complete electric fan assembly for my Z71 and cannot find anything except Dorman or other aftermarket crap. I can get motors and blades all day long but the whole assembly? I cannot find one. If it was available anywhere, I would buy it. @915_Tahoe, can you help a guy out? 89023365 is the OE number, right?
