Im joining you on this one. Maybe we can work together on this. Ive started to disassemble my sonars last night and that was a pita. I have the tinted ones with the dual halo's and chrome housing. After getting them apart, i realize the halo's are shit and the housing is glued together with some amazing junk. Should get my projectors in next week.

Robert-- sounds like you have the same halos i have right now. Except mine are not tinted. Yeah the halos are junk, the whole light is, really. Its aftermarket flebay crap. But they are alright. Not bad. But i scratched putting real projectors in those b/c its moulded to the headlight housing. Have to drill out quite a bit. But it could work, i may still decide to do something w/ them.

Well i talked w/ matt @ TRS about baking apart sonars lights, he said not a problem has done some before, but i dont know. What seems to be the problem w/ them, just the glue is hard to get apart? Im thinking baking and heat gun and slow and patience might get the job done, hopefully.

But here's a pic if what came in, only half of it, but its all the same. New headlight and Mini.

Well i baked my other one today, and it was a whole lot easier then the first one. The glue is terribly hard.but i baked them at 315 for 10 minutes and they basically pulled apart with a little elbow grease. They break down into three part, fairly simple. And my halos and leds still work afterwards. But i am scrapping the halos for some real ccfl angel eyes. As soon as tapatalk is back up, i will post some pics of them apart.
