Cool, so POR15 wins but I think Chassis saver is even better so Chassis Saver wins in my independent nonbias virtual review .

But seriously cool video, I could punch myself for cleaning the axle overly well because I could tell while applying the paint that it wasn't going to stick as well as it did on the rusty frame. I think it will be good enough tho, I will likely touch up with $.99 cans of black from wall mart or just let the dirt cake on.

I like Todd’s videos. The one on penetrants settled my curiosity and led me to keep on using WD-40 not just because it works as well as any other but because of the fact it has other uses as well. Those videos make me glad I don’t have to deal with rust although if I did I would be applying POR-15. There’s so much snake oil out there in the rust business it’s crazy. Encapsulates rust my a**.

To be fair this has been sitting in the dirt for almost two years so it’s definitely gotten worse since it was removed but, yeah pretty bad. I wish I hadn’t bought this truck without actually seeing it northern trucks suck.

Got the brakes on but still need to plumb the rear, can’t find the old SS lines so I guess I have to go bin diving tomorrow.

Definitely don’t show much of the caliper but that’s okay at least I know they are there and pretty. Can’t wait to feel how this thing stops.
