Ok so I'm runnin a torsion bar crank and 1 inch blocks in the back also running a 3" body lift and 33" bfg mud terrains. I was looking at some shocks and I like the look of reservoir shocks. But then I saw the dual shock hoops amd thought that would look amazing on my truck. My question is. Can I run them? And if not does anyone know of a company that makes a coilover kit for the 97 two door tahoe. It's 4x4

there would be no point in running coil overs with torsion bars... probably make it ride like shit, coil overs on an ifs would be stupid because imo if your gonna go through all that just pull it all out put a solid axle under it and four link it if you want coils... you gotta think of that coil as a torsion bar or a leaf spring... it would be the same as running coil overs on a truck with a leaf spring or leafs and torsion keys.

He's not talking about coilovers, just a shock with a resi. Yes it can be done, many lift companies sell them to work with their new brackets. Could always look into a custom hoop

LOL @ dual shocks or reservoir shocks with 33s and a 3 inch body lift. Get yourself some decent Ranchos and spend your money on better upgrades somewhere else ...

Are you after a look or a better ride? Dual shocks on the cheap will ride like shit. Most low dollar shocks are not valved to be run like that. I would say get a standard set of bilstien shocks for it and enjoy the ride
