Thanks, Serge. Another thing... Is there any real chance of whacking the resonator off in such a way that the tips don't sit in the right spot? Or, would you say that the directions are clear, and that the tips are well made such that they should line up right the first time?

I know I'm not Serge but when I did mine I just followed the instructions of where to cut and it worked out perfect for me on my SLP tips. I'd assume the same with the Denali tips. As long as you cut close to where they tell you to cut you'll be fine.

Well I took it to an exhaust shop to do mine ... their first cut was not far back enough so they had to cut another couple of inches to get it to line up right at the edge of the bumper, so they'll have to do two welds if/when they get the stock one back on.

I wasn't too happy about it but it's better than cutting too much off and then the tip not reaching the bumper edge.

The good thing is that it's attached with two clamps so it's very easy to adjust the tip angle by loosening a bolt.

More useful information found here. And it cost me more money (just ordered the slp tips). :)
