07 LTZ with auto ride. Not trying to pass it off as a z71 just want that ride height and rid of this pos auto ride. It's riding to high in the back and very harsh etc. compressor works etc. anyway just wondering who has done away with it. I talked to a company called strutmasters but I'm not sure I want to spend $800+ on springs and Monroe shocks. What all will I need to make this happen. My GF has an LT and it rides so much better than mine.

Yeah I know that company they're close to my area. I would just get their module and run 5100 shocks with Moog 81069. This would be the best setup and use front shock height to adjust ride to level it.

Thanks for the help. Any idea what would cause it to keep the rear shocks completely extended? Maybe try bending those rods for the level thing?

I'm confused with your question, are the shocks currently always maxed out? I wouldn't bend rods until you measure fenders and see what your rear height is currently setting. Just for reference the autoride shocks ride firm for a semi sport feel to the road. I know my old 01 Yukon was way soft compared to the autoride model then I firmed it up with z71 springs and 5100s. Still not as firm as autoride though

I have measured them. The rear is 2.25 inches higher than the front. When I shut it off the system then releases the air and it still sits about 1.25 inches higher than the front. Also the dampening on these shocks is terrible. Maybe just worn out?
