DVD Player question

In my 2007 Yukon, it has the overhead DVD player controlled at the front radio screen. My question is, does everyone have to listen to the movie? or is there a way to play a DVD w/ headphones and everyone else can listen to the radio?

You should be able to listen to the overhead DVD on wireless Headphones using the built in infrared sensor.

How might one get these headphones? will any wireless headphones work? And that will allow the others to listen to something else?

You get the headphones anywhere that carries car electronics like Best Buy, Fry's, even Wal-Mart. They are usually universal.

And if my daughter uses the headphones while watching a dvd that is playing in the front unit, we can still listen to the radio? I know I keep asking the same question, but it hasn't been answered yet.

That should work, I believe you just have to set the rear controls to DVD and that is what will play on the headphones.

I know it's an old thread, but you can listen to anything you want while the headphones are being used. To listen to the DVD via the speakers, switch the AUX/BAND button to RSE.

Serty - what i am wanting is to listen to the dvd via the headphones and the radio via the speakers. is that possible with the headphones?

Yeah, sorry all, I don't think we are getting the right information here. I have some wireless headphones, however, I don't hear anything with them. Do they need to be programmed somehow?

I also had to buy another OEM remote off of ebay for the DVD system, however, it does not work either, how can one program a second remote?
