So I've got a three day weekend and I'm tired of how ****** my carpet looks. Thanks kids! So I ordered up a couple of bottles Detail King black carpet dye last week. Started gutting the truck last night. Here's pics so far and more to come. 089f7c8916a3da0af298a963337e4bfc.jpg0034c9ee28f3bcf598537c65b0545cbe.jpg3a0f80302792607566ff33447396dcb6.jpgd1b707a65c9be107b651895128e6fa9e.jpg1a1d209efd51f65971c161c4c0f199e8.jpg63391eae17329f970b3693261a9878d0.jpgd71930c6eb58f0b32c35d8041d3e6f46.jpg

Before you dye the carpet, have you tried power washing it? I've never beena fan of dyeing carpets. Never looks right to me, especially when you're going toa different color. Since you've already pulled thes eats, why don't you spend the extra10 mins and pull the carpets.

Are you redoing or dyeing the headliner? I've never seen that done before and I'd be interested in the results.

Gonna dye it. Friend of mine did his. Came out good. I want it to be dark inside so I figured floor and ceiling would do the trick

Nah I'm just gonna sponge it in. That's why pulled the seats so I could get to it and not worry about it getting on them. Pulled the rear section out and sprayed it down earlier, but I don't wanna pull my console to get the front half out. I am gonna dye the rear section in the driveway tho. 6823cca1f593d25a7f5d1bc0bc9e24aa.jpg

No interest in just replacing it with a kit from www.stockinteriors.com while you have everything ripped apart?

Cost a bit more but then it's fresh and new. Either way interested to see after pics. Should look good.
