I really did not go over this thread, but I went over your GMFS thread. Dude, re-do that wiring. You could seriously burn down your truck. It's hack-tastic. I did not notice, but did you even upgrade the charging system in your truck to handle that?

Seriously, fix that wiring asap. Your box looks awesome, great job on that. And I'd ditch the mirror thingy. It looks cool...on a JDM car. Not a American suv. Plus, that JDM mirror does not look right when you put a 1940's GMC emblem on your truck. I like the emblem. I'd color match the bottom section of it and I think it would look sweet!

Not trying to be a GMFS *******, just trying to give some advice

If you're talking about the mess under the back seats, its getting redone in a couple days when I wire my speakers to the 2 channel amp. No I haven't upgraded the charging system, its only pulling 80 amps max. I'm not experiencing light dimming or anything. I do have a slightly bigger battery and I've been meaning to do the big 3 upgrade soon.

Get a diehard platnium battery. Side and top terminals...LOVE the emblem. ditch the mirror.

Thanks man, I have a side and top post from advance. I don't remember the brand, I think it was an autocraft 800 cca. The big 3 is next.

Sounds good!

Thanks. I'm very satisfied with the speakers. This is my first speaker set that is running off an amp. 200x2 watts puts the factory 10x4 watts to shame. I paid $50 shipped for the soundstream components and $65 for the pair of PPIs. Next phase will probably be a bigger box with some real subwoofers. :D

I didn't have to cut the door structure to make the 8" mids to fit, it was very easy if you have the tools to cut the hole. I used a $20 jigsaw from harbor freight. Fishing wire was easier than than I expected...

I picked up a new camera finally, so I can get some good pictures. :)

The zipties on the washer nozzles is temporary, I might have to change their locations to adjust the spray pattern.
