Anyone using the new Dynomax VT muffler? Just curious what it sounds like and what size/offset people are using if I only want to replace the muffler.

Thanks in advance!

Not sure about the vt, but a buddy of mine is runnin a single in/ duel out ultra flo i believe on his 04 silvy and it sounds perfect in my opinion, he does have a mickey mouse set up tho that he hrew together from spare parts and if i remember correct, hes runnin a 4" diesel midpipe. Ive been thinkin about replacing my magnaflow with one as im not really happy with it especially on the highway.
Theres also a $75 MAIL IN rebate going on stylin trucks for dynomax catbacks

Straight thru i believe, single in-single out, 22" long if i remember correct. Around town it sounds fine, nice rumble to it and if i didnt drive 30+ miles a day on the highway id be happy with it but it has such an over whelming drone on the highway and anything over maybe 1400-1600 rpm you cant hear yourself think. I can forget about talking on the phone which wouldnt be a deal breaker but it doesnt help me wanting to keep it. It was basically free and replaced my flowmaster 50 muffler which wasnt bad but wasnt great. Plus mufflers are easy enough to change out and are fairly cheap so i dont mind being a little picky and will give dynomax a shot since i like wat ive heard on the same engine, altho ive been contemplating trying an edelbrock muffler but i havent heard too much feedback on the mufflers or their catback systems
