E 3 spark plugs

Anyone using them. If so is the hype true.

I've heard of people liking them but I've never had a problem with NGK TR6s use them in boosted and NA applications. I've run copper and iridium tips both had good results.

ive troed them in a 4banger and a lawn mower. literally no difference in the car lawnmower did seem to run a bit stronger but was due for a tune up regardless. most likely just nonsense tried those stupid bosch +4 sparkplugs when they were the new thing. also useless and made no change. about the only thing you can do without going to a full performance ignition setup is running good plugs better plug wires if your vehicle even uses plug wires anymore. also in cases where its available a stronger coil. even in those cases without playing around with the plug gap is possibly a smoother idle and generally unnoticeable mpg gain. also i wouldn't recommend playing around with the plug gapping much if at all as there is no need unless your making bigger changes to the engine outside of bolt ons.

I've always had better results using good fuel a good tune and keeping maintenance up to date the gimmicky products such as those.

I have them in my wifes car and noticed no difference in drivability and performance

The only change to a spark plug, was a tip an engine builder told me he did to plugs.
For a high mileage engine, that might have a bit of fouling, was to file down the plug tip to align at the center of the electrode. ( Same gap)..... That allowed for a bit more spark. It kept the plug cleaner too.
( He built sprint car engines also)

one of the reasons i do like running the higher ngk plugs as they already have this feature.
