I had to replace 2 fuel injectors after a brief run with e85. According to service tech many e85 stations here (smaller independents) have dirtier tanks, and the pump filters don't catch everything so injectors & onboard filters clog. No more e85 for me unless a high volume major carrier has it. Also, I confirmed at least 10 percent less mpg, but not 10 percent less cost so financially it doesn't pencil out for me here.

the only station around me is a high volume major carrier. It is an exxon and it is the only place for over 60 miles that offers E-85. I see it gets used decently often, so I doubt that is the problem. I changed my fuel filter so I will try again and see how it goes, I hope that it will clean everything up but if it is going to run like crap I will just stick with fuel system cleaner.
