I'm looking for the lowest cost/easiest entry into a tune to improve the lazy shifting of our 2017 5.3 Tahoe. It must pass the WAF (wife acceptance factor) and I don't want to be removing/shipping ECU's around the country. This is her daily driver for work/store runs. Zero towing ever. The TC is newly replaced and the trans fluid changed several times by the dealer (as they were diagnosing the TC before finally replacing). The truck has 67k miles and is nearly in mint condition inside and out. I almost hate driving it as the shifting just sucks.... even the wife has commented on it.
I have a Range Tech plug in to prevent DFM/DOD from kicking in for whatever that's worth..
@NickTransmissions (or anyone else) any recommendations?
