Hi guys,

I have a 2002 Yukon Denali and have been trying to decide on an aftermarket replacement for the existing radio. I would like something that fits the factory opening but isn't super expensive, or a pain to install. I don't like the look of a standard size head unit in an oversized opening, so that is out.

Are there any good options for us in the 2002 and older group? I saw a recent thread about the Pioneer 4200, but read that it only fits the 2003 and newer vehicles.

Thanks

if you want something that fits you are basically stuck with finding an old school Alpine with the phantom face or modding it to fit a double din... which is what i did... took me 3 days of tinkering to get it to fit right.

Like mentioned above, Mod it to fit a double din, or using a standard HU is your only 2 choices. I have a Pioneer DEH-3200 Which was replaced with the 3100 or the 4100 and both are great HU's. They all have the pre-amp outputs, IPOD Input, CD, and are HD Radio capable. They run about $149 and are very simple to install.

Check out http://www.crutchfield.com

They have what you are looking for and they include all the install gear necessary for free when you buy a HU. Give them a call and they should be able to help you.
