Ecu tuning cost and options

I’m doing an e fan swap on my 01 Tahoe and obviously need the ecm flashed so the fans will turn on. My question is I found a guy here in Las Vegas but just to turn on the fans he wants $250. Is that standard? He said he’ll delete my speed limiter but any suggestions on asking to do other things to get my moneys worth? Thinking of buying a btr 4 cam just to make the tuning worth it.‍ Suggestions welcome.

I just got mine turned on about a month ago, and after the swap everything worked out great. I paid on $55 including return shipping. Sent my ECU out to a guy that does tuning and turn around time was a day after he received it. I only did the fans, but he also does the tuning aswell for the same price. let me know if your interested I will give you his info.
