Edge Evolution

I ordered an Edge Evolution for my tahoe, I have a 2008 PPV. My wife, the baby and I went to Littlerock (from Memphis) over the weekend. I set the cruise between 75-85 mph the whole way and got an average of 17.5 MPG. I will try the power mode but my main reason for buying the programmer is to help my MPG so I will set it to economy mode after I play a bit. I have read some getting 20-22 mpg on the freeway. Any one have one and keep up with their MPG?

My 07 tahoe came with the evolution tuner, and in economy mode with 24 inch wheels, intake and exhaust, i get roughly 18.5 mpg on the highway. That is not in cruise control, but i remain pretty steady at 75mph.

I have been getting 15-15.5 around town. 17.5 on the freeway this last trip out of town. I hope to get 17 or so average in town and 19 + freeway would be nice. We shall see.

So what are you getting now with the Evolution? Or has it not been installed yet?

It got here today. I tried to hook it up and unfortunately it will not work with my PPV. I contacted Edge and they said they have not worked with the police package tahoes so that is why it would not load the new programmed into my Tahoe. The guy I spoke with said as far as he knows there are no plans to make it compatable with the PPV so back it goes.
