egr delete

has anyone done the egr delete to their trucks lately? it seems the gm part is no longer available. ive read to use a 1 3/8 freeze plug instead. does anyone have pix or vids of this? thanks

thanks but i only need it for the intake and im not paying 30 bux for one ill just use the freeze plug

Yes. Just remove the EGR tube. And push the freeze plug in. Pull the TB off so you can Hold your fingers on the inside, to keep it from going in too far. You'll need to have your EGR turned off/deleted with a tune.

You can also use one of those rubber expanding plugs. Pop it in and tighten. Obviously don't crank down on it, lol
