Looks promising. This is the mod I'd like to do next, once I have funds, but utilizing a stock setup. This setup does look good tho. Just by the looks of it, think it'll pull enough air?

Checkout justchevytrucks.com they have an Ebay store with Oem fan conversion kits. the fans are out of the 05' and up trucks which means they bolt right in and they come with the relay harness and clear color picture instructions on how to get them installed.

SHould be able to get OEM fans and a harness for this much.

Difference is that you will have to have a tuner enable the fan control. If you already have or plan to have a tune done then that is a better option IMHO.

Need to program the bcm to turn the fans on? Damn, I miss the good old days of plug and play, and go!

if you want it to work like a factory fan then yes. I think low fan speeds should still work without it, but high fan speed for ac wont function properly IIRC. Have not done it myself.

For this aftermarket kit in question Im sure that it uses a temp sensor of sorts that should work. The question is reliability and longevity. Hell you could just manually switch high and low speeds if you want to.
