The flexalite fans are 100 adjustable. So the guy with the s10 maybe didnt know that or had any idea how to set the temp???? I can have these turn on at any temp or with a switch.. IDK i love em, bought em for 200 bucks shipped BNIB instead of the whopping 550 or whatever summit sells em for.

Homebrew fans are alright, as long as you can wire them properly and do what the need to do then your set. 500cfm isnt a big deal considering we all have moderately stock engines...... for now ;)

Dyno tests showed a gain of 17HP & 20 Ft. Lb. torque at the wheels

I would question that. if you have both fans running at 100% then it's just more load on the electrical system so the alt has to put out more amps and thus draws more power. I bet those results are with no clutch fan and the electric fans not even running on a cool engine lol. I could see a real world result of about 5hp and 10ftlbs of torque with the E fans running full bore and tad more then that if they are only at 60%. Then again if you have a sound system and have not upgraded the alt yet like me because I am still with in limits, these fans would more then likley force me to up grade and eat up a tad more of that saved HP and Torque.

look kinda poopy, and craigslist is sketchy about buying stuff and having them send it. Ive done it on numerous occasions. but beware..

Actually those numbers are only slightly exagurated, but the gains are impressive.

Removing the clutch fan gains you about 15hp.
Both fans running full tilt 100% consume ~20amps.
10amp load on alternator = 1 hp stolen from engine.

So lets do some math.
+15hp - mech fan removal
-2hp - alt load from efans
=13hp gain. :)

I was good with 13 more horses for less than $100...

Only if thew fans are on to began with. It seems most people don't realize is that if your vehicle is moving you may never need them to turn on.
